Tina & Dale Knobel Pavilion
Robbins Hunter Museum, Granville, Ohio
This cozy performing arts pavilion is on the property of the Avery-Downer House; one of the most beautiful and iconic Grecian houses of the 19th Century in Ohio. Because Minard Lafever utilized Illisus Ionic, Hephaestos Doric, and Temple of the Winds Corinthian on this prostylos temple in 1842, we chose a simplified heavier Doric language for the pavilion following Decorum.
The pavilion is sized for sextet, small jazz ensemble, or small acting crew (as well as being utilized for weddings and other events) and the dais projects for intimate performances.
Finish materials consist of Azek siding, stock, and decking while the roof and acroteria are metal.
