Our Lady of Ephesus Priory

The Priory of Our Lady of Ephesus is the home of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, a Benedictine association established in the Diocese of Kansas City- St. Joseph, Missouri. Designed for 58 sisters, the priory includes a monastery (yet to be built) as well as a guesthouse completed in 2010, a retreat house for priests, a gate house, working farm, hermitages, and other ancillary buildings for this Civitas Dei.

While funding continues for the monastery, the sisters utilize the Guesthouse as their monastery. Incorporating a classical tripartite arrangement with an informal aesthetic of timber and wood siding, this residence expresses a rustic simplicity.
