Mater Dei Academy

Founded in 1972, Mater Dei Academy was established for the formation of children in the tradition of an authentically Catholic education. Today the school is in need of a larger facility to house its growing number of students from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade. The new facility, based on classical and monastic models, is designed to hold up to 200 students K-8.

Phase one includes 10 classrooms for 20 students each, a library, computer room, parlor, main office, sick room, principal's office, conference room, teacher's lounge, and parent's study. Phase two includes art rooms, music rooms, a great hall for lectures and assemblies, gym classes and lunchtime, and a kitchen. Phase three is the chapel for 40 persons. This is intended to be used by student classes in groups of two for Masses and prayer during the week. Future expansion of this chapel and added wings for more classrooms and higher grades is in planning.
